Career

Mpilo stars in two of her family reality shows, Uthando Nes’thembu and Izingane Zes’thembu, which air on Mzansi Magic.

She returned to the second season of the reality show with her siblings and was forced to come out of her shell. She showcased how she coped in school and her relationships with her siblings.

The show, which started as a spin-off of Uthando Nes’thembu, continues to follow the lives of her and her siblings as they navigate the ups and downs of young adulthood. It airs at 7 pm on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).

In 2025, she started working as a car sales intern at Halfway Omoda and Jaecoo Port Shepstone in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She landed the job because she did not want to stay at home after graduating from school.

“The reason I decided to apply for the internship was, I didn’t want to do anything after school. I thought it was going to be a great opportunity. I was applying for different things, and it was a bonus, I got the opportunity here,” she said.
