Early Life

Siyacela Dlamuka was born in 2003 in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. His late father, Mthandeni Dlamuka, was a bishop at the Corinthians Apostolic Church in Zion in Nkandla, a church he has been part of since birth.

Education

Reality star Dlamuka attended Ndlovana High School but dropped out in grade 9 to focus on his marriage.

Career

Siyacela co-stars in the hit reality TV show Isencane Lengane with his wife, Thando. They gained the viewers’ attention after getting married as teenagers at 15 and 16 years old, thereby thrusting them into the limelight.

The show Isencane Lengane, which piqued viewers’ interest, is characterized by a toxic relationship between Siyacela and Thando. His wife went on to admit that things had gotten to the extent of a physical altercation between them.

The show is aired on Moja Love and has faced intense backlash from viewers who demanded its cancellation.

The 14th episode of season 6 contained disturbing events involving them. His comments have caused criticism from viewers, who have accused him of planning to have his wife and son.

Moja Love came under fire because of the reality show Isencane Lengane. The digital satellite TV channel explained that the show reflects, explores, and raises awareness and contributes to the discourse on Gender-Based Violence and societal ills.

The show had viewers upset after Siyacela Dlamuka threatened to beat his wife, Thando Dlamuka, with a sjambok. 

In an episode of Isencane Lengane on 20 April 2025, an argument erupted over Dlamuka’s decision to have a second wife. It escalated to him insulting Thando and the family elders.

Dlamuka had announced his intention to convert his father’s church into a tavern. He mentioned that the church’s attendance reduced after his father’s demise, with only a few congregants remaining.

Person Life

Siyacela Dlamuka married co-reality TV star Thando Dlamuka in a packed traditional wedding in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, in April 2019. The couple has a son, Lubanzi.

The duo met at a traditional ceremony at Siyacela’s home when they were both 15 years old and started dating in 2018. They got married the following year at 16.

In December 2024, Thando announced they were emotionally divorced on the podcast Meaningful Conversation with Zandy Mfeka.

In February 2025, Siyacela Dlamuka was involved in a fatal car crash in Ballito, north of Durban. He was traveling in a Polo, which was completely damaged. He was taken to the hospital.
